  ทีมสร้างของ Despicable Me 2 ยังคงเป็น คริส เมเลเดนดรี้ จาก อิลลูมิเนชั่น เอนเตอร์เทนเม้นท์ ซึ่งได้สร้างภาคแรก ในปี 2010 จนประสบความสำเร็จ ชนะใจผู้ชมทั่วโลกด้วยรายได้กว่า 540 ล้านเหรียญสหรัฐ หรือราว 16.6 พันล้านบาท จนติดชาร์ตหนึ่งใน 10 แอนิเมชั่น ที่ประสบความสำเร็จสูงสุดในสหรัฐอเมริกามาแล้ว และในปี 2013 ภาค 2 ของ Despicable Me นี้จอมวายร้ายกรูขอกลับมาอีกครั้ง กับ ลูกสมุนตัวเหลืองจอมแสบ แต่ครั้งนี้เขาไม่ได้กลับมายึดครองโลก แต่จะกลับมาเพื่อปกป้องโลก
